July BJP and bracelet
Well, right down to the wire, but it's done and I'm pleased. I had planned to use polymer clay on the page this month but it never happened and I just went with the flow. I like it. The bracelet is fun, true bling and a great use for a vintage Swarovski crystal I'd been hoarding. Now on to August....I'm thinking warm colors. hehe

Wow, that flower is majestic. I love the way the right side plays with the light like water. Just beautiful. Lots of dark light and medium colors in the flowers. Love how you played with green.
The bracelet must make you feel like Cleopatra when you wear it. What does the form look like that you put it on.
Oh, that lotus speaks to my heart !
Did you embroider on velvet ?
Take care.
never met a lotus image I didn't love but this one is particularly spectacular.
thanks folks! no, it's on a shimmery black fabric, that is actually the off side of a gold shimmer fabric. The bracelet is sewn onto a brass blank covered with leather and whip stitched on with some extra beads for continuity see here
quite a lovely flower! a lotus? so nice...
Simply beautiful . . .

Very nice. You interpreted the flower on a pond very well. Makes me think of San Diego's Balboa Park's lotus pool (which my dad said they used during WWII to teach soldiers how to swim). It wasn't deep but it was still very dark with the flowers looking beautiful, like yours, on top.
Beautiful work!
wow your flower is so real looking... and I expecially love your cuff bracelets... someday I would like to try my hand at making some!
Just gorgeous! I love the bracelet, is that malchite you have used on it?
LOL at myself, of course I mean malachite ;9
Kiwi Ellen, yes, malachite, and the smaller green cabs are jade. The large crystal is a vintage Swarovski, and the whitish cabs are moonstone, they look much prettier than they showed up in the pic. Thanks for the positive feedback!
